WHITE WINES: renski rizling, laški rizling, beli pinot, sivi pinot, traminec
WINEGROWING AREA: Maribor

In comparison with the long tradition of other Podravje wineries, Zlati Grič is rather new to the market. They cultivate seventy-six hectares (188 acres) around Slovenske Konjice, and their average annual production is 400,000 liters (105,680 gallons) of mostly white wines. Modra Frankinja is their only red variety; Laški Rizling, Chardonnay, Beli Pinot, Sivi Pinot, and Traminec grapes are the basis of their white wines.

The winery's cellaring is mostly traditional, and the majority of their wines are fermented and matured in aged oak barrels. Zlati Grič has successfully established two fresh quality blends, the red and the white Konjičan. Recently they have tried their hand at late harvest wines, achieving their best results with Renski Rizling. The winery also makes a very good Ice Wine.

The best vintages of the Zlati Grič winery are 1988, 1990, and 1993.
