The company does not cultivate its own vineyards but annually purchases five thousand hectoliters (132,100 gallons) of must which is fermented and matured in its cellars and 155,000 hectoliters (four million gallons) of still wines which are blended, finalized, and bottled by the company.

Slovenijavino is the most successful exporter among Slovene winegrowers. Its wines are particularly popular in the United Kingdom and the United States where its brand names Lutomer and Avia are well known. Vincent is another brand name for Slovenijavino's quality wines that is well established in Slovenia. The secret of Slovenijavino's success is in controlled blending which keeps the taste and bouquet of their quality wines stable and recognizable.
The oenologists at Slovenijavino know how to make wines of high-quality range; their expertise has been repeatedly confirmed at wine fairs in Ljubljana, Montreal, Paris, and elsewhere. Their best high- quality wines are the 1979 and 1990 Merlot from the Koper area, Cabernet Sauvignon 1983, Modri Pinot 1989, Chardonnay 1991, and Laski Rizling 1992.
