Radivoj Lisjak is one of the largest independent winegrowers in the Vipava Valley. Most of his eight hectares (19.8 acres) of vineyards are on Bernardovec, one of the sunniest sites in the Vipava Valley.

His vines produce sixty tons of grapes annually, mostly white varieties traditional to the area: Beli Pinot, Sivi Pinot, Sauvignon, Pinela, Chardonnay, and Zelen. Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot provide his red wines. In average years, Radivoj Lisjak prepares 420 hectoliters (11,100 gallons) of wine; 120 hectoliters (3170 gallons) are in the quality range, and three hundred hectoliters (7930 gallons) are high-quality.

Harmony is the most valued characteristic of Lisjak's wines. His white wines are dry but with just enough residual sugar to blend with the alcohol and acids into a balanced wine.

Barbera is the best of his red wines; relatively light and fresh with an unobtrusive bouquet, this wine should be enjoyed young. Lisjak's Merlot is somewhat richer.

Beli Pinot and Chardonnay are his most successful white wines, and his Pinela and Zelen are always worth tasting. Connoisseurs appreciate his Rumeni Muskat, but its production is still low.

Radivoj Lisjak's best vintage is the 1991; 1993 and 1994 were both very good years.
