Edvin Simcic is among the younger vignerons of the Brda area. He works two hectares (4.9 acres) of vineyards near Vipolze, annually producing sixteen tons of grapes. He grows Merlot and Cabernet Frank, and his wide selection of white wines includes Rebula, Sauvignon, Tokaj, Chardonnay, Beli Pinot, and Sivi Pinot. Edvin Simcic makes 96 hectoliters (2536 gallons) of wines annually: 15% are table wines, and the rest in the high-quality range.
His wines have won a number of awards, Sauvignon being the most successful. According to his own estimate, his best wines are the 1991 Chardonnay, 1992 Sauvignon, 1993 Merlot, and 1994 Rebula
