The Blazic family cultivates six hectares (14.8 acres) of vineyards on sites around Plesivo. White varieties comprise most of their production: Chardonnay dominates, but the traditional Brda vines Sivi Pinot, Tokaj, Sauvignon, and Beli Pinot are well represented. The traditional reds of the Brda area, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, provide only 14% of Blazic brothers' annual production of fifty tons of grapes.
The Blazic brothers produce some three hundred hectoliters (7926 gallons) of wines annually. Table wine, mostly sold unbottled, represents 60% of his production; 40% is bottled high-quality wines.
Although the estate has a long tradition in the production of grapes and wines, the Blazic brothers began bottling their produce under their own name only recently. First results were encouraging: their Sauvignon won silver medals at the Ljubljana Wine Fair in 1993 and 1994, Sivi Pinot won silver in 1994, and Tokaj and Chardonnay in 1994 and 1995. 1993, 1994, and 1995 are also the best Blazic vintages
